agisra helps migrant women to network and self-organize. agisra itself is a migrant self-organization (MSO) and is networked with MSOs nationwide. MSOs are organizations founded by migrants, the majority of whose board and members are migrants. Their goals include setting up a lobby group for migrants to pool self-help potentials and formulate demands directed to policy-makers and society.
In 2007, representatives of the 100 nationwide migrant self-organizations founded on a parity basis the forum „Migrantinnen und Migranten im Paritätischen “ A member of agisra, Behshid Najafi, is one of the three representing the speakers group.
